Trimedyne Laser OmniPulse Max™

Holmium Laser Image

* Powerful results--Over 300,000 patients have reaped the benefits of safe, minimally invasive Holmium laser surgery. Studies reflect a faster recovery and return to normal activities.

* Gentle on the budget--Trimedyne remains the leader in cost-effective laser technology. They are the pioneers of the Omni™ line of reusable laser handpieces which have reduced laser delivery system costs by over 50%.

* Gentle on the patients--Precise yet able to tackle tough targeted tissues without affecting adjacent, healthy tissues.

This unique feature separates the OmniPulse MAX™ from all other lasers. The patented DoublePulse™ mode allows you to safely shift into a higher gear for a more rapid ablation of dense tissue or calculi. With the effect of up to 7 joules of energy per pulse, you can precisely and gently vaporize targeted tissues while the adjacent tissues remain unaffected.

To accomplish this, the energy pulses are synchronized to double the energy to tissue while halving the acoustic effect. Only the OmniPulse MAX™ can safely provide the extra energy you need when encountering challenging tissues.

* Faster procedures - At 60 pulses per second, no other Holmium laser is faster. And with the effect of 7 joules per pulse, no other Holmium laser is more powerful.

* Unique tissue effects - Perform techniques that are impossible with conventional tools such as efficient contouring and sculpting of articular surfaces, and hemostasis.

* Cut, contour, coagulate and fragment - All with the same instrument.

* On-Board Power Meter - Allows you to measure fiber power output on the spot. When reusing handpieces, power checks are vital for assuring continued device integrity.

* No overheating - Only the OmniPulse MAX™ operates continuously for hours at a time. You will rarely lose valuable OR time while the laser cools down.

* Adjustable Aiming Beam - Allows control of the brightness levels for excellent visualization.

* Pre-programmed lasing parameters - For the convenience,Trimedyne has pre-set the most common laser parameter combinations for instant selection. You may also program your own preferred settings--the laser will accept up to 12 custom parameters.

* Compact and maneuverable - With a fold-down screen for easy transport, the "MAX" will become your most popular laser because it can go anywhere. Just plug it in and begin.

* Three-position wheel lock for effortless steering and safe laser storage.

* The 360 degree swiveling control panel can be seen from any vantage point.

* Automatic Self-Diagnostic System provides fast and accurate troubleshooting.

* The patented laser connector is engineered to virtually eliminate time-consuming blast shield problems.

* Simple to use - A short learning curve and an easy-to-read control panel will rapidly make this laser a routine part of your surgical procedures.

* The Omni™ Switchtip System - This proprietary reusable design is just one more reason Trimedyne is the leader in cost-effective laser technology.

Choose from a wide variety of handpieces for your arthroscopic, endoscopic, or percutaneous applications. Both side firing and end firing tips are available providing easy access to hard-to-reach areas.

Every day the OmniPulse MAX™ becomes a more valuable O.R. tool. You'll find you can amortize your capital equipment costs over several different specialties. The "MAX" has been designed for the following applications:
