 The KTP/Nd:YAG Laser System was designed for multiple specialty applications, including general surgery, gynecology, ENT, urology, and orthopedics.
The dual wavelength (KTP and Nd:YAG) output allows for seperate tissue interactions that may be switched virtually instantaneously. The KTP/Nd:YAG Laser System combines a 532nm (KTP) wavelength along with the 1064nm (Nd:YAG) wavelength. This combination of laser wavelengths allows hemostatic cutting and ablation, as well as deep coagulative capabilites. The 532nm (KTP) wavlength cuts, and coagulates tissue with minimal disruption to the adjacent areas. The 1064nm (Nd:YAG) wavelength provides deep coagulation and ablative capabilites. The KTP/Nd:YAG can be operated in continuous or pulsed modes to deliver the desired tissue effect in the most efficient manner. |
