The Fraxel® SR Laser is used to perform fractional photothermolysis. This laser system provides an innovative approach to repairing aging and sun-damaged skin, including periorbital wrinkles, pigmented lesions and melasma.

The Fraxel® SR Laser is a 1550nm laser whose target is water. The handpiece delivery device features an Intelligent Optical Tracking System (IOTS) that adjusts to the physician's hand movement and delivers precise microthermal zones (MTZs).
